The Canyon Overlook Trail is a fairly easy, one mile (round-trip) hike to a view point of lower Zion Canyon. The trailhead is just east of the tunnel (seriously, just after you hit daylight). www.zionnational-park.com/zion-canyon-overlook-trail.htm
