Scenic overlook

This overlook on the Aurlandsfjellet byway sits at an elevation of 9 ft, with the surrounding land dropping only 9 ft within 600 m. Several named features surround the site: Skaffarberget rises to 972 ft about 0.4 mi south, and Sjøbergi reaches 729 ft roughly 0.5 mi north. To the west-northwest, Urasanden coast lies 0.5 mi away at 133 ft, with Raudberg further along at 338 ft, 0.6 mi out. Øyrafossen waterfall is visible 0.5 mi to the south-southeast at 1,180 ft, and Himlinghammaren stands at 350 ft, 0.6 mi to the southeast. Tråna coast appears to the northwest at 1.2 mi and 243 ft, while Illasva, the most distant feature listed, sits 1.6 mi to the east-northeast at 1,531 ft. Daylight hours vary considerably by season: on the June solstice, sunrise occurs at 03:53 and sunset at 23:12, while the December solstice sees a much shorter span, from 09:44 to 15:14.
