The view spans a cluster of coastal points and street ends across the water, including West Raye, McGraw, Armour, Barrett, and Dravus Street Ends to the east-northeast and northeast, ranging from roughly 4.6 to 4.9 miles away at elevations between 67 and 108 feet. To the east-southeast, Charles Richey Senior Viewpoint, Alki Playground, and Cormorant Cove lie at lower elevations of 21 to 30 feet, while Eastmont Place to the east-northeast sits higher at 274 feet. Lookout Bench, another viewpoint, is visible to the northeast at 4.9 miles and 104 feet. The facing direction aligns with sunrise, which occurs between 05:13 (June solstice) and 07:56 (December solstice) depending on season. Seattle is 8.0 miles east, with Bellevue further east at 14.4 miles and Tacoma to the south at 25.2 miles.
