From here, Slide Mountain rises to the south-southeast at 2.7 miles, with an elevation of 3,243 feet, and Sunday River Whitecap is visible to the southeast at 3.3 miles, reaching 3,319 feet. The Stewart Family Preserve lies farther off to the east-southeast, 7.3 miles away at 2,474 feet. Berlin is the nearest town, 14.6 miles to the southwest, while Auburn and Lewiston are both roughly 49 miles to the southeast.
