Daylight hours vary by season, with sunrise around 05:50 and sunset near 20:24 at the June solstice, compared to sunrise at 07:11 and sunset at 16:56 in December. This stop falls along the byway between San Simeon Point and the Vista Area.

We've been getting some nice ones.... I like the echo of the sea stack (center) with the big tree on the skyline at San Simeon Pt. A nice walk, that I haven't done for awhile.

A beautiful sunset tonight. Up to a bit after 6PM! And the sun has 'moved' North, from the W end of the Point (off frame to left) to above the west quarter of the pier! Enjoy. We did!
