Farther out, Espen Island Wildlife Management Area lies to the northwest at 1.7 miles, and Trenton Bluff Prairie State Natural Area appears north-northwest at 3.4 miles, reaching 988 feet. A.P. Anderson Park, Skidmore Bluff, Anderson Center Sculpture Garden, and Prairie Island Community Garden extend the view further west and northwest, with the farthest, Prairie Island Community Garden, at 7.7 miles.
