Farther distant, Feehly Hill (1,772 ft), Skippers Saddle (3,094 ft), Bowen Peak (5,351 ft), and Mount Dewar (4,298 ft) are visible to the north-northeast, north-northwest, west-northwest, and northwest, at distances from 6.5 to 7.0 miles. Sunrise and sunset times vary through the year, from a 05:55 sunrise at the December solstice to an 08:25 sunrise at the June solstice, with sunsets ranging from 17:10 to 21:32. Windy Point follows Halfway Remarkables and precedes Jacks Point along the byway.
