Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center is a Passport To Your National Parks stamp location.

Located 12 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming just off US Highway 26/89/191. Turn west at Moose Junction onto the Teton Park Road. Continue for 0.5 mile and cross the Snake River. Turn left/south into the parking lot.

The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center is reached by a wide paved pathway that curves around from the parking lot on the north side of the building. From the parking lot, you can see the side of the building, its grey metal roof slanting up to your right. The building has horizontal wood siding with a natural finish, but the west end, to your right, is glass from floor to ceiling. The sidewalk approaches the building from the east, where it forms a "U" shape around a central courtyard. The sidewalk splits to lead to a veranda on either side of the courtyard. At the split is a life-size sculpture of a bull moose. The paved courtyard is sunken, with 4 shallow steps leading down from the veranda on all sides. Two large boulders sit near the middle. Viewed from the front, the roof forms a jagged line, echoing the mountain peaks beyond. The veranda roof is supported by large, wooded posts spaced 12 feet apart. To reach the entrance, proceed down the veranda along the right side of the courtyard to the far corner. Turn left and the doors will be 15 feet beyond on your right. Audio descriptions of the interior will be automatically triggered by Bluetooth transmitters located throughout the space. To hear the first of these, move about 25 feet to your right along the wall after you enter the building.
