1-mile south of Orick, located on Freshwater Beach. Look for the brown highway signs for Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center / Park Information. Do not rely on online maps to give accurate directions: this visitor center is NOT in the town of Orick.
Located off HWY 101 in the southern part of the park. It is 1/4 mile to the west (ocean-side) of the HWY and there are signs showing where the turn off is. There is a 1/4-mile drive to a large parking area in front of the brown and grey facility, plenty of RV and trailer parking available. Information kiosks are in front of the steps and up to the entry doors. ADA accessible ramps is to the right and left side of the building. This facility is not visible from the road.
