former Jackstown Aquaduct

Site of old Aquaduct at Jackstown,which was the access port for Mapleton to the canal. Earlier wooden Aquaduct was slightly upstream and was replaced by iron Aquaduct which was built about 1865 destroyed by flood of 1889
