Comprised of relics from the retired cruiser USS Tuscaloosa, including a 1 ton anchor, jackstaff (flagpole), and anchor chain. The relics are on top of a circular pedestal of granite and marble. Dedicated Oct. 27, 1966 and completed in 1967.
