Cobble lookout

Cobble lookout sits at 1,196 feet along the Central Adirondack Trail, facing south with land dropping 759 feet within 600 meters of the overlook. The view opens to the southwest toward Lake George view and Noosa's Bluff, both about 1.5 miles away at roughly 1,640 feet. Wildwest Ranch & Western Town lies southeast at 2.3 miles, and the Colonel Williams Monument sits south-southeast at 3.3 miles. Darling Mountain, at 1,843 feet, and Beech Mountain, at 1,465 feet, are visible to the south-southwest at 3.9 and 4.2 miles respectively. Queensbury is the nearest town, 5.1 miles southeast, with Saratoga Springs and Milton farther south. On the December solstice, sunrise comes at 7:25 and sunset at 16:22; the June solstice range extends from 5:15 to 20:40. This lookout follows Lake George Panorama and precedes The Narrows along the route.
