Floyd Bennett Park lies south-southwest at 0.4 miles (746 ft), with Warrensburg Recreation Field farther in the same direction at 0.7 miles (728 ft), and Calvin Engle Park to the south-southeast at 0.7 miles (702 ft). Beyond these, a line of peaks rises to the south and southwest: The Three Sisters at 3.6 miles (1,735 ft), Phoebe Mountain at 4.1 miles (2,026 ft), Shingle Mountain at 4.3 miles (1,953 ft), and Black Spruce Mountain at 5.5 miles (2,351 ft). Queensbury is located 11.1 miles to the south-southeast, with Saratoga Springs 29.0 miles south and Milton 32.6 miles south. Sunrise and sunset times vary through the year, from a 05:15 sunrise at the June solstice to a 07:26 sunrise at the December solstice, with sunsets ranging from 16:22 in December to 20:40 in June.
