River Overlook

River Overlook sits along the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail at an elevation of 579 feet. The terrain here is nearly flat, with a land drop of only 3 feet within 600 meters, so the setting is level rather than dramatic. Woodland Park lies to the west-northwest at 0.4 miles, at an elevation of 590 feet. Cleveland is 18.0 miles to the southwest, Parma is 25.2 miles southwest, and Elyria is 41.0 miles west-southwest. Sunrise and sunset times vary across the year: on the March equinox, the sun rises at 07:30 and sets at 19:38; at the June solstice, sunrise is 05:52 and sunset is 21:04; at the September equinox, sunrise is 07:14 and sunset is 19:25; and at the December solstice, sunrise is 07:50 and sunset is 16:59.
