From here, Baldy Mountain is visible to the west-southwest at 6.9 miles (8,565 ft), Mount Leidy farther west-southwest at 12.5 miles (10,246 ft), and Uhl Hill to the west at 14.6 miles (7,326 ft). An interpretive display at the site covers the area's cultural history, and a restroom is available. Dubois lies 34.2 miles to the southeast, Jackson 36.9 miles southwest, and Wilson 40.7 miles west-southwest. Sunrise and sunset shift through the year at this location: around 07:25 and 19:33 at the March equinox, 05:39 and 21:07 at the June solstice, 07:09 and 19:20 at the September equinox, and 07:52 and 16:47 at the December solstice.
