Further out, a series of hills and peaks span the southwest to west-northwest arc: Wellington Hill at 4.4 miles, Hartley Hill at 4.9 miles, Kurn Hattin Hill at 5.2 miles, Hitchcock Hill at 5.9 miles, Rocky Ridge at 7.1 miles, and Bull Hill at 7.4 miles, ranging in elevation from 512 to 1,646 feet. Because the view faces 30 degrees off square from due west, it looks generally toward the sunset; sunset times at this location range from about 16:18 in December to 20:34 in June. Keene is 15.9 miles to the south-southeast, with Lebanon 36.4 miles north-northeast and Rutland 42.5 miles northwest. This stop falls along the byway between Hubbard Hill Vista and Indian Ridge.
