Lily Pond Vista sits at 2,065 feet along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, facing due north across Lily Pond, a natural mountain pond beside the highway. Mount Carrigain rises to the north at 5.3 miles and 4,683 feet, with Mount Lowell visible to the north-northeast at 6.2 miles and 3,738 feet. An ample gravel turnout provides parking, and moose are often seen feeding in the pond. In winter, the Upper Nanamacomok cross country ski trail is accessed from Lily Pond. Laconia lies 33.8 miles south, Berlin is 34.0 miles north-northeast, and Waterboro is 49.6 miles southeast. Sunrise and sunset vary through the year, from 05:04 to 20:33 at the June solstice down to 07:18 to 16:11 at the December solstice. Beaver Brook Overlook is the previous lookout along the byway, with Sugar Hill Overlook next.

Lily Pond is a natural mountain pond beside the Kancamagus Highway 18 miles west of Conway. There is an ample gravel turn out for parking as moose are often seen feeding in the pond. In winter people access the Upper Nanamacomok cross country ski trail from Lily Pond.

Mount Carrigain is a mountain located in Grafton County, New Hampshire. The mountain is named after Phillip Carrigain, NH Secretary of State (1805–10), and is on the south side of the Pemigewasset Wilderness, the source of the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River in the heart of the White Mountains, between Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch. Carrigain is flanked to the northeast beyond Carrigain's Vose Spur by Mount Anderson and Mount Lowell across Carrigain Notch, and to the southwest by Mount Hancock. It has a fire tower at the summit, providing 360 degree views of the surrounding wilderness.
