Fernow Mountain is a summit in the Town of Webb in Herkimer County, east of Old Forge. The nearest towns are Oswegatchie, 31.7 miles to the north-northwest, New Bremen, 32.4 miles west, and Trenton, 40.7 miles south-southwest. Sunrise and sunset times vary by season, with sunrise as early as 05:18 at the June solstice and as late as 07:31 at the December solstice, and sunset ranging from 16:25 in December to 20:45 in June.
