The Ash River Visitor Center is open during our summer season from late May to late September. Ash River Visitor Center is closed over the winter season. The Ash River Visitor Center is located in the historic Meadwood Lodge. Take a moment to explore this historic, rustic building. Watch your head, as some interior doorways were constructed for shorter individuals.

A passport stamp is located inside the visitor center during business hours. Another passport stamp is located on the bulletin board near the boat launch area.
Located 28 miles south of International Falls, Minnesota, 11 miles off of Hwy 53.
The Ash River Visitor center is a historic wooden cabin. Concrete stairs lead up to the cabin from the parking lot and an accessible path leads to the visitor center from the left side of the visitor parking. A separate building for restrooms is located to the right of the visitor center with a slight path separating the two.
